Your profile and qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in CNC machine operation or a related field.

  • Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, adjust machine settings, and perform tasks accurately and timely.

  • Physical Demands: Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.

  • Work Environment: Exposure to moving mechanical parts, occasional fumes, or airborne particles. Noise levels may require participation in the Hearing Conservation Program.

Your responsibilities and tasks

  • Operate CNC Machines: Set up and operate CNC production machines following established procedures and guidelines.

  • Adjustments: Select appropriate settings and make necessary adjustments for optimal performance.

  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to position and secure materials on the machine.

  • Precision and Timeliness: Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and on time.

  • Supervision: Work under general supervision or a lead person to ensure quality and efficiency.

  • Quality Control: Use micrometers, height gages, depth gages, and calipers to maintain high standards.
