Crane Design Engineer

Description

You will work on offshore, port, and land-based projects, supporting customers in defining technical requirements and developing tailored crane and lifting solutions. Your responsibilities will include selecting key mechanical components such as bearings, hydraulic cylinders, and gearboxes, performing strength and kinematic calculations, and preparing complete technical and manufacturing documentation. As a technical expert within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, and international customers and partners, contributing to the successful delivery of complex engineering projects. Requirements Experience in the design of lifting equipment, steel structures, cranes, or solutions for the marine/offshore industry Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (3D design and skeleton modelling) Ability to prepare complete technical and manufacturing documentation Knowledge of mechanical component selection and structural strength calculations Familiarity with DNV standards, particularly DNVGL-ST-0378 Good command of English, both written and spoken The company delivers innovative engineering solutions and offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging and development-oriented projects with a real impact on final products. • We are looking for an experienced Crane Design Engineer to join a team responsible for designing advanced lifting equipment for the marine and industrial sectors. In this role, you will be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from concept development and proposal preparation to detailed design and implementation.
