Ideally, you’ll also have
Knowledge of third party data marketplace providers and vendors (e.g., LSEG, S&P, IDC, Gartner)
Ability to assess comparative strengths of data products and competitive landscapes; apply TCO/ROI analyses
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint; familiarity with Power BI preferred

Analytical decision making using usage, consumption and ROI insights
Your key responsibilities
Manage assigned data categories end to end: category planning, vendor selection and onboarding, negotiations, and oversight of performance and compliance.
Partner with Procurement, Finance, GCO, Risk and business teams to translate needs into clear data requirements and match them with the right products.
Maintain accurate inventories and scorecards, and provide category reporting that supports decisions and renewal recommendations.
Build category strategies based on business demand, market trends and EY’s data strategy; identify emerging needs, risks and priorities.
Oversee vendor and product management, including evaluation, onboarding, monitoring, issue escalation and negotiations aligned to licensing, IP, privacy and usage rules.
Support commercial and financial management through budget planning, cost/TCO/ROI analysis and optimization of commercial terms with Procurement, Finance and Risk.
To qualify for the role, you must have
Experience in data management, data supply chains, vendor management or procurement in a global organization
Strong understanding of licensing models, IP and usage rights
Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to manage vendor/product lifecycles
Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of relevant experience
