As a Manager level Marketing Consultant, you'll leverage your expertise to make recommendations that drive business development. Working within a diverse, seasoned team, you'll take part in high-level marketing projects, providing specialized knowledge in MarTech, digital marketing and marketing mix. The opportunity As our Marketing Transformation Manager specializing in digital marketing & marketing technologies, you'll guide the evolution of complex digital marketing strategies and MarTech solutions. This entails taking part in critical negotiations, evaluating risks, and optimally executing marketing initiatives. Your job will be to comprehend the MarTech, digital marketing strategy, marketing spend and marketing media mix optimization and contribute to achieving widespread enterprise aims. You will assist in identifying growth opportunities, integrating them post-implementation, and liaising with our internal teams. You will build and maintain robust relationships with clients, professionals in the field, and company stakeholders, ensuring project objectives are met within set timelines and budgets. Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience with Digital Transformation: Proven leadership in driving digital change initiatives, considering the increasing role of digital tech in marketing
Understanding of Regulatory Landscape: Sound knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance issues in digital marketing
Professional Certifications: Certificates in digital marketing, MarTech, or related fields (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Certified Expert, etc.) is a plus
Project management experience is strongly encouraged
Skills and attributes for success
Minimum of seven years of professional Digital Marketing and MarTech experience
University degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or related field (Master's, MBA or Ph.D. is a plus)
Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM software
Familiarity with AI-based predictive analytics
Strong analytical skills, rapid comprehension, and precise work methods
High level of commitment and teamwork
Your key responsibilities
Advising clients on digital marketing and MarTech selection, implementation, and evaluation
Assisting in the creation and rollout of digital marketing strategies
Proactively contributing to marketing technology projects
Supporting clients in their marketing spend and marketing media mix optimization
Guiding the implementation of marketing enhancement measures
Collaborating with varied departments within the global EY network, facilitating project progress, and supporting team members' professional growth
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor’s degree with at least 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Excellent communication skills in English + another European language (German or French preferred (min. C1))
Professional experience with a focus on MarTech, Digital and Media Mix marketing strategy
Extensive knowledge of marketing automation, programmatic advertising, and data management platforms
Profound understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) systems
