With ABB Ability™ enabled connected solutions at its core, the offering includes medium-voltage air- and gas-insulated switchgear (1 to 66 kilovolts), indoor and outdoor circuit breakers, reclosers, fuses, contactors, relays, instrument transformers, sensors, motor control centers, as well as low-voltage switchgear for the ANSI standard markets.The work model for the role is #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions Division worldwide. Main stakeholders is R&D organization.You will be mainly accountable for:Working as an independent and reliable contributor in R&D projects with limited supervision.Leading or supporting R&D teams with cost reduction activities for energy distribution products (following Design for Assembly, Design for Manufacturing analysis, Should Cost analysis methodologies).Facilitating workshops with international cross-functional teams.Preparing documentation and presenting analysis results to customers.Qualifications for the role:Master degree in mechanical / electrical engineering.You are highly skilled in and enjoy working with Design for Assembly/Manufacturing or Should cost analyses and the energy, automotive or similar market.You are passionate about creating cost effective product concepts and looking for potential design improvements.Ability to demonstrate up to 3-4 years of experience in product or part designing.Analytical but also out of box thinking is your nature.You are at ease communicating in English.Doceniamy różnorodność doświadczeń.
