Currently enrolled in Welding program
Basic math skills
Basic blueprint reading
Basic fabrication skills
Comprehension of safety rules
Sit, stand, reach, walk for periods of time on concrete surface.
Ability to lift / carry 50 lbs.
Sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate tools and or machinery.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, Lean Six Sigma environment.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Your responsibilities and tasks
Performs all operations in the manufacture of standard separators, receivers, and heat exchangers to required specifications and budgets1. Assembles and welds sub assembly parts2. Installs parts3. Welds internal and external parts4. Installs heads and sub arc5. Sub arc wrappers6. Assembles and welds supports, legs and angles7. Assembles and welds water boxes
Assist in training less experienced employees
Performs other duties as assigned
Performs all operations in the manufacture of standard compressor packages to required specifications and budgets. 1. Assembles and welds sub assembly parts 2. Installs package components 3. Assembles weld and installs system piping
