Description
We are seeking an ambitious Junior Java/Kotlin Developer to join our Platform Integration team, where you will be trained and mentored while contributing to a key project for a global technology leader working to deliver high-speed, reliable internet across the U.S. Responsibilities Develop, test and maintain microservices using Java and Kotlin Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code for assigned features and bug fixes Participate actively in code reviews Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues under the guidance of a mentor Collaborate with the team in all Agile ceremonies Contribute to the team's documentation Build a strong understanding of the project's domain, architecture and codebase Grow into a productive member of the scrum team by delivering on assigned tasks Advance technical skills in Java, GCP and related project technologies on a continuous basis Requirements At least 1 year of experience with Java and Kotlin development Knowledge of Spring, JUnit and Git Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Understanding of microservices architecture Knowledge of Gradle Proficiency in English at Intermediate (B1) level or higher
