Description

Develop and maintain backend components of Retail applications (i.e. Oracle Xstore POS) using Java, working within an established codebase and coding standards. Participate in the configuration, customization, and integration of Retail applications (i.e. Oracle Xstore) as part of a client-facing POS implementation. Create and maintain technical documentation- including configuration guides, data flow descriptions, and integration specs - following project and Accenture standards. Work with senior consultants, functional leads, and client technical teams to clarify requirements and build delivery skills. Paid, several-month internship program - min. 3 months, 4-5 days a week, with flexible working hours and possibility to work remotely. Qualifications

• Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, initially Monday to Friday.

• Active student status (IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field).

• Practical knowledge of Java (core Java SE; familiarity with Spring or Java EE is a plus).

• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle DB preferred).

• Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line operations.

• Detail-oriented and self-organized, capable of tracking open tasks, defects, and configuration items across workstreams.

• Strong desire to learn retail technology and enterprise POS systems in a consulting delivery context.

• Good communication skills in English and Polish (written and oral) and good interpersonal skills.
