Senior Cybersecurity Engineer About the role: This role is ideal for someone who combines strong networking expertise with a security-first mindset. You will help shape and evolve secure connectivity solutions across enterprise and telecommunications environments, working with modern technologies and architectural concepts such as cloud-native networking and SASE. We are looking for a professional who can understand complex technology ecosystems, connect the dots between different domains, and translate technical challenges into practical solutions. Rather than expecting expertise in every area, we value curiosity, analytical thinking, and a willingness to learn and grow alongside rapidly evolving networking and cybersecurity technologies.Key Responsibilities:• Design network security solutions for IP networks in telecom environments.• Implement changes and reconfigure customer environments.• Participate in migrations and deployments, including NGFW, IDS and IPS solutions.• Design and support network segmentation and microsegmentation initiatives.• Integrate solutions from different technology vendors.• Analyse and resolve technical issues through hands-on troubleshooting.• Consult with customers on security architecture and future development directions.• Support the wider team with technical knowledge, experience and architectural guidance.Your Profile:This role could be a good match if you have experience in some of the areas below:• Routing and IP networking, including BGP, MPLS, L2/L3/E VPN and VXLAN.• Network security technologies, including firewalls, IDS and IPS.• Security architecture and network security design.• Modern trends in telecom operator networks, including SASE, SD-WAN and cloud-native networking.• Hands-on work with one or more vendors such as Fortinet, Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper, F5, Nokia or Arista.What matters more than the technology list:• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.• Architectural thinking and ability to understand the bigger picture.• Readiness to work in multi-vendor environments.• Willingness to work during telecom operator service windows, including night windows when required.• Openness to customer-facing communication and consultative technical discussions. Nice to have:• English at a level that allows comfortable cooperation with customers.• Certifications such as CCNP or CISSP are nice to have, but not mandatory.
