Senior Databricks Consultant / Data Platform Engineer (B2B Contract | Remote) Design, develop, and maintain Databricks dashboards for platform cost monitoring and analysis. Build and enhance platform monitoring solutions within the Databricks ecosystem. Develop and maintain a Streamlit-based lightweight Data Catalog application. Support the creation of a Governance Portal leveraging Data Catalog capabilities and Unity Catalog permissions. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and deliver effective solutions. Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, particularly dashboard development and platform monitoring (Senior level). Experience building applications with Streamlit (Mid+ level or higher). Good understanding of Data Governance concepts and Data Catalog solutions. Practical experience with Unity Catalog and permissions management. Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables. Soft Skills Proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to confidently present ideas and promote recommended solutions. Self-driven approach with a focus on delivering business value.
