Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS

Description

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in DevOps practices and tools to contribute to the development, deployment, and maintenance of our infrastructure, with a focus on GitLab, Terraform, Jenkins, AWS cloud, Kubernetes/EKS, and Ansible. Responsibilities Develop, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and other relevant tools Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform Configure and manage AWS services Collaborate with the development team to deploy microservices onto the Kubernetes/EKS platform using GitLab CI/CD Lead the migration of Jenkins pipelines to GitLab, ensuring a smooth transition Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and deployment processes Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in DevOps and Cloud Ensure code is up-to-date, maintainable, scalable, and secure Monitor and improve system health and performance to maximize uptime and end-user satisfaction Develop, test, and maintain the toolchain and pipeline that enables continuous integration and deployment Collaborate with software developers, operations teams, and other cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, gather requirements, and deliver systems and software within agreed upon timelines Requirements 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering roles Proficiency in GitLab, Terraform, and Jenkins Expertise in AWS, EKS, and Ansible, including Jenkins to GitLab migration Skills in Shell and Python scripting, and Ansible playbooks for automation tasks Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration Understanding of infrastructure security best practices Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Upper-Intermediate English language proficiency (B2+)

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering roles

• Proficiency in GitLab, Terraform, and Jenkins

• Expertise in AWS, EKS, and Ansible, including Jenkins to GitLab migration

• Skills in Shell and Python scripting, and Ansible playbooks for automation tasks

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration

• Understanding of infrastructure security best practices

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Upper-Intermediate English language proficiency (B2+)

Responsibilities
