Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Tax / similar role (experience in a high change, fast-paced environment with exposure to Europe preferable).

  • Experience and knowledge of multi-tax jurisdiction ERP implementation (configuration and ongoing development) for a multinational organisation is critical, specific SAP knowledge is preferable.

  • Preferable tax qualification or qualified accountant, for example ATT / CTA / ADIT (or equivalent) or AAT / ACA / CA / ACCA (or equivalent), e.g. Qualified Accountant or Qualified Tax Adviser.

  • Fluent English (spoken and written).

  • Track record in tax technology, delivering cross-jurisdiction projects to drive value.

  • Experience in overseeing multiple projects to deliver on deadlines and objectives.

  • Experience integrating tax engines and tax technology into ERP systems.

  • Familiarity with automation tools and data analytics platforms (e.g. Alteryx, PowerBI, etc.).

  • Broad understanding of business needs and awareness of competitors and retail landscape.

  • Self-motivation and excellent time and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities.

  • Results orientated, presenting results in a structured and professional manner.

  • Strong analytical skills, market awareness, and the ability to adopt evolving industry trends.

  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model, with a minimum of 2 days per week onsite at the Poznań office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day tax matters on a Group-wide basis, covering a number of entities and jurisdictions.

  • Support the implementation of a new multi-tax jurisdiction ERP system (SAP) on behalf of the Group Tax Team from design through to go-live, stabilisation, and ongoing development.

  • Collaborate with core components of the Group Tax Team (Tax Compliance and Reporting, Transfer Pricing, etc.) and ERP implementation team (Finance and IT).

  • Support tax modules of the new ERP system.

  • Collaborate with members of the Group Tax Team to gather business requirements and understand existing requirements and processes with a view to identify improvements in processes.

  • Drive innovation through the use of technology to standardise, automate, and simplify tax processes, and oversee the integration with the ERP system.

  • Define and validate tax data requirements including sensitive master data, transactional data, and reporting outputs.

  • Support Tax Compliance and Reporting on a group-wide basis (including Direct and Indirect Tax), covering a number of entities and jurisdictions.

  • Lead on tax risk through technology, ensuring effective controls and test effectiveness of controls.

  • Act as a key point of contact for stakeholder queries.

  • Link with internal audit and act as subject matter expert to validate controls.

  • Support tax transformation projects including new country openings and digitization.

  • Maintain open and transparent relationships with tax authorities.

  • Lead the team in line with our values, behaviours and the strategic agenda.
