Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Products, Automotive, Life Sciences or Distribution industries
Exposure to end-to-end Supply Chain Execution solutions including TMS, WMS, ERP and transportation visibility platforms
Experience supporting business development activities, proposals, client pursuits and pre-sales engagements
Knowledge of system integrations, APIs, EDI messaging, carrier connectivity and enterprise application landscapes
Experience with transportation optimization, network modeling, logistics analytics and reporting solutions
Experience working in international and multicultural project environments
Professional certifications related to Supply Chain, Logistics, Project Management or leading TMS platforms
Skills and attributes for success
Strong understanding of transportation management processes including planning, carrier collaboration, execution, tracking and freight settlement
Your key responsibilities
Lead business process discovery and requirements gathering workshops focused on transportation planning, execution, visibility and freight management
Analyze client transportation operations and design future-state business processes aligned with industry leading practices
Support end-to-end TMS implementation projects including solution design, configuration, testing, deployment and hypercare activities
Provide functional expertise across transportation planning, carrier management, freight procurement, execution, tracking and freight settlement processes
Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, technical teams and third-party providers to ensure successful solution delivery
Support integration design and testing activities between TMS, ERP, WMS, visibility platforms, carrier networks and other enterprise applications
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field
5+ years of experience delivering Transportation Management System (TMS) implementations, enhancements or transformation programs
Experience in business process analysis, solution design, testing and deployment within transportation, logistics and supply chain environments
Proven knowledge of transportation operations including planning, carrier management, freight execution, shipment visibility and freight settlement processes
Experience working with one or more leading Transportation Management System platforms such as SAP, Blue Yonder, Oracle, Manhattan Associates, MercuryGate, e2open, Descartes, Infor or similar enterprise solutions
Experience facilitating workshops, requirements gathering sessions and stakeholder alignment activities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify transportation and logistics optimization opportunities
Experience working in cross-functional environments involving Supply Chain, Logistics, ERP, WMS and integration teams
Good understanding of enterprise integrations, APIs, EDI messaging and data exchange processes
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders
Self-driven, collaborative and client-focused mindset with a passion for delivering business value and operational excellence
Experience gathering, analyzing and translating business requirements into scalable technology solutions
Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and client-facing consulting experience
Prepare business requirements, functional specifications, process documentation, test scenarios and training materials
Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), defect management and business readiness activities
Deliver workshops, demonstrations, training sessions and executive presentations to client stakeholders
Identify opportunities for transportation optimization, cost reduction and service improvement through process and technology transformation
Support proposals, client pursuits, RFP responses and business development initiatives where required
Stay current with transportation management trends, emerging technologies and leading supply chain execution solutions
