The opportunity As an HR Business Partner at EY GDS, you will operate as a strategic advisor and a trusted partner to our service line leadership. Your role will go far beyond traditional HR support — you will help shape people priorities, anticipate talent needs, and influence strategic decisions that enable business growth. You will combine maturity, business acumen and operational agility, developing a deep understanding of the service line’s direction while translating HR and Talent strategy into impactful actions. You will also play a key role in providing and interpreting people insights to guide leadership decisions and strengthen our talent agenda. Requirements

  • A degree or postgraduate qualifications in Psychology, Economics or HR.

  • Experience in consulting or a similar professional services environment.

  • Experience working in complex, virtual, geographically dispersed teams.

Requirements

  • Serve as the primary HR partner for designated sub‑service lines, ensuring cohesive, high‑quality support.

  • Build strong, advisory‑driven relationships with leaders to understand business goals, forecast talent needs and translate them into actionable people solutions.

  • Create a positive and connected employee experience, building engagement and a strong sense of belonging.

  • Lead and support key areas such as engagement, performance management, workforce planning, organization design, staffing, learning & development, rewards & recognition, and HR program deployment.

  • Proactively identify talent risks and opportunities; manage and escalate HR concerns with sound judgement.

  • Own people insights: maintain and interpret key HR metrics (e.g., retention, inclusion, headcount), delivering clear, meaningful analytics.

  • Contribute to global and local projects focused on digitalization, process simplification and continuous improvement — bringing a modern, growth‑oriented HR mindset.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience, ideally with hands‑on HR Business Partner exposure within a multinational environment.

  • Sound understanding of labour law and modern HR practices.

  • Excellent English and Polish communication skills — clear, influential and concise.

  • A proactive, agile mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

  • Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders; ease operating in a matrix and global environment.

  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving capabilities.

  • Empathy, resilience and strong interpersonal skills — including the ability to navigate conflict constructively.

  • A global mindset and cultural sensitivity, enabling effective cross‑border collaboration.
