Description

Purpose of the role You will act as a Purchasing Support expert and escalation point, ensuring efficient resolution of purchase order– and invoice related issues, providing guidance to business users, and helping improve purchasing processes and policy compliance across the organization. Key Responsibilities Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Purchasing Support, working closely with UK business units and nearshore teams Handle and resolve purchase order, invoice, and requisition-related queries within agreed service levels Investigate escalated issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend improvements Guide and re-educate business users on purchasing policies, processes, and correct procurement routes Raise and amend requisitions and orders, release invoice holds, and reopen soft closed purchase orders when required Support process efficiency initiatives, audits, and procedure maintenance Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Cash & Payments, and other global stakeholders What we’re looking for University degree in Finance or a related field (part qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA is a plus) 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement support, or finance operations Experience in a Finance Shared Service Centre or multisite organization Knowledge of Coupa, Maximo, or similar purchasing systems (nice to have) Experience working with offshore / nearshore teams Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Very good English and solid Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) What do we offer: Scandinavian work culture and a positive, collaborative atmosphere.
