We're looking for an Android Automotive OS (AAOS) Engineer to join our team in Poland in a remote working mode. This role offers an opportunity to develop cutting-edge automotive software solutions, working on Android platform technologies, virtualization, and integration for next-generation in-vehicle systems. You will contribute to innovative automotive programs, ensuring security, reliability, and seamless connectivity. Responsibilities Develop and customize Android Automotive OS for automotive ECUs Build multi-domain (Android/Linux/FreeRTOS) virtualization solutions using Xen Hypervisor Design, implement, and integrate Android Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL), including Camera HAL for imaging and stereo capture Create and maintain Android BSPs for automotive/embedded platforms Implement secure boot and Android Verified Boot (AVB) under Xen/QNX hypervisor environments Perform Linux kernel updates, driver integration, and U-Boot customization for automotive SoCs Manage builds with Yocto Project, GCC toolchains, CMake, and GNU Make Integrate GAS (Google Automotive Services) with Android Auto and AAOS Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, quality BSP and image deliveries Support CI/CD pipelines for Android platform integration and release workflows Requirements 3+ years of experience in Android platform development, preferably in the automotive domain Proficiency in Android SDK and Android Automotive OS Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Rust for embedded systems Hands-on experience with Linux kernel, driver integration, and BSP bring-up Expertise in Android HAL architecture and implementation Knowledge of Xen Hypervisor and virtualization solutions Familiarity with secure boot mechanisms and AVB (Android Verified Boot) Practical experience with Yocto and embedded build systems Strong understanding of Git, Gerrit, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
3+ years of experience in Android platform development, preferably in the automotive domain
Proficiency in Android SDK and Android Automotive OS
Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Rust for embedded systems
Hands-on experience with Linux kernel, driver integration, and BSP bring-up
Expertise in Android HAL architecture and implementation
Knowledge of Xen Hypervisor and virtualization solutions
Familiarity with secure boot mechanisms and AVB (Android Verified Boot)
Practical experience with Yocto and embedded build systems
Strong understanding of Git, Gerrit, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines
