Description

For our client – a leading company in the energy commodities trading sector – we are looking for an experienced Biomass Trader to join a dynamically growing operations team. In this position, you will be responsible for executing commercial processes and building the company's position on the Polish and international markets. Location: Poland (remote work) Scope of duties: Creating value throughout the entire supply chain through active purchase and sale of biomass, Acquiring new customers and building lasting relationships with suppliers and recipients of raw materials, Negotiating commercial contracts and supervising their proper execution, Monitoring the energy commodities market to identify new business opportunities, Cooperation with the logistics department in the field of optimizing the flow of goods, Ensuring compliance of commercial processes with applicable standards and certifications. Requirements: Higher education (preferred business, technical or logistics fields), Documented experience in a similar position in the field of bulk commodities trading (preferred experience in the biomass, biofuels or coal industry), Knowledge of logistics processes and the principles of supply chain functioning, Very good communication, negotiation and analytical skills, Fluency in English (spoken and written), Excellent self-organization and the ability to set priorities, Readiness for frequent business travel to build relationships with contractors, Independence in making commercial decisions and a goal-oriented attitude.
