Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in data science or research & development is required.

• Proficiency in Python programming language is essential.

• Familiarity with key data science and machine learning packages such as pandas, polars, scikit-learn, Keras, PyTorch, and LightGBM is required.

• Knowledge of generative AI concepts, including prompt engineering, RAG, and AI agents, is necessary.

• Excellent written and spoken English is required.

• Creative and critical thinking skills, along with curiosity and eagerness to learn about multiple business processes and disciplines, are important.

• Knowledge and experience in relational databases (SQL, data warehouse) is desirable.

• Ability to create simple proof of concept applications in Python using tools such as Streamlit or Poetry is advantageous.

• Experience with generative AI-based tools (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI) or MLOps/DevOps technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, REST API, CI/CD, Linux) is beneficial.

• Experience with cloud solutions such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the full lifecycle of data, including research, exploration, preprocessing, development, integration, and implementation.

• Engage in brainstorming sessions and develop prototypes or proofs of concept using data science methods to address anti-financial crime challenges.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and clients to understand processes and develop tailored solutions.

• Create automation solutions based on AI agents, generative AI models, and machine learning techniques.

• Contribute to the development of data science products from both technical and sales perspectives, including application backends, data pipelines, pricing, solution architectures, and visual representations.

• Support junior and mid-level team members through mentoring and technical assistance.

• Participate in training, certifications, and conferences, and serve as a speaker if desired.
