Your profile and qualifications
A minimum of 5 years working with mechanical equipment
Should have done extensive Travel, up to 75%
Ability to work up to 12 hours at times
Availability for occasional weekend work
Understanding of Hand Tools and mechanical techniques
Computer Literate
Some technical writing skills
Ability to read Schematics
Diagrams and Technical manuals
Must be able to function well, in an unsupervised position
Must have a valid driver license
Must be able to discuss technically complex issues with non-technical persons
Good organizational skills, particularly on site, are critical
Ability to read and interpret gauges, schematics, and control systems
Skilled in troubleshooting digital, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
Proficient in using measurement tools and testing equipment
Solid communication and teamwork skills—serving as the face of GEA onsite
Organized and professional with strong customer service ethics
Comfortable in a high-travel, hands-on field service environment
