Finance Manager (SSC)

Description

You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, business case development, financial governance, and management reporting while collaborating with stakeholders across finance, operations, and HR. Key Responsibilities Strategic Finance Partnering Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing financial insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making. Build, evaluate, and challenge business cases related to organizational growth, process transitions, transformation initiatives, and investment opportunities. Translate operational plans into financial impact and support long-term planning. Financial Planning & Analysis Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives. Analyze financial performance, identify trends and risks, and recommend corrective actions where needed. Drive financial modelling and scenario analysis to support key business decisions. Financial Control & Governance Oversee monthly and year-end financial closing activities. Ensure robust financial controls, compliance with internal policies, and audit readiness. Monitor and validate costs, revenues, allocations, and recharge models, identifying potential discrepancies and improvement opportunities. Reporting & Stakeholder Management Prepare and present financial reports, analysis, and recommendations to senior management. Deliver regular and ad hoc business performance insights. Collaborate closely with operational leaders, HR, and finance teams to ensure financial discipline and accountability. What We're Looking For 7+ years of experience in Finance, Controlling, FP&A, or Finance Business Partnering roles. Previous experience in a multinational Shared Services Centre (SSC), Global Business Services (GBS), Business Services, or corporate environment. Experience in finance transitions, process migrations, knowledge transfers, process centralization, or finance transformation projects within an SSC/GBS environment. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent qualification is highly desirable. Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and business case preparation. Strong ERP systems knowledge (SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
