Qualification requirements
Education: Minimum Level III vocational qualification, preferably with an educational background in mechatronics.
Experience: At least 4 years of professional experience as a mechatronics technician, preferably working with premium and luxury vehicle brands.
Language Skills: Good command of the English language.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Work Ethic: Strong commitment to established work processes and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
Driving Licence: Valid Category B driving licence.
Possible Tasks within this Role
Service Operations: Perform servicing, maintenance and repair work on Porsche vehicles (mechanical, electrical and electronic systems of the latest vehicle generations, including basic HV electrical systems), while following and complying with all relevant manufacturer technical instructions and technical support guidelines. Ensure mandatory use of all available systems, assistance tools and equipment, and carry out repairs and adjustments of mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle systems.
Diagnostics: Conduct diagnostic procedures on mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle systems using appropriate equipment and tools (e.g. brake system tester, exhaust emission tester, oscilloscope, PIWIS Tester).
Technical Assessment: Take responsibility for preparing clear service findings, identifying the root causes of faults and providing recommendations for corrective actions.
Parts & Repair Planning: Prepare specifications of the required spare parts, tools, equipment and consumable/support materials for repairs, taking into account repair instructions and strictly following prescribed repair procedures, while providing support in the ordering of special tools.
Training & Development: Attend all relevant training programmes organised by Porsche AG, PCEE, the Importer and the Employer, including online training courses, seminars and training sessions held at the manufacturer’s Training Centre.
