General Ledger Accountant with Dutch or Swedish or Norwegian or Finnish

Key Responsibilities: Oversee General Ledger activities and ensure accurate accounting records are maintained in line with reporting deadlines. Prepare and review accounting postings, including accruals, provisions, corrections, and other period-end adjustments. Reconcile balance sheet accounts, monitor discrepancies, and coordinate timely resolution of outstanding issues. Investigate financial fluctuations and variances, providing clear explanations and actionable insights. Support local statutory accounting requirements and financial reporting processes for selected Nordic and European entities. Ensure accounting practices comply with both IFRS standards and local statutory regulations. Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. Partner with auditors, tax specialists, and internal business stakeholders during reporting and compliance processes. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting operations and enhance process efficiency through automation and continuous improvement initiatives. What We Are Looking For: Proven background in General Ledger, RTR, or Financial Accounting roles. Good understanding of IFRS and/or local accounting standards. Experience preparing financial statements and supporting statutory reporting requirements. Knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP systems. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex accounting issues. Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish will be considered a strong asset.
