Your team

• Your workplace will be the UBS office in Wrocław, Poland, a vibrant international hub and former European Capital of Culture. We are an in‑house translation team specializing in marketing and banking content, bringing together international language professionals in a stable and collaborative working environment.

• You will have the opportunity to develop your skills as a translator, including hands‑on experience with modern translation technologies, such as CAT tools, terminology management solutions, and AI‑enabled language tools, as well as UBS‑specific language standards.

• Support for professional growth and learning is an integral part of the role. A relocation package may be discussed with suitable candidates.

Your expertise

• native or near‑native proficiency in French, with very good command of German;

• a precise and creative mindset, with attention to detail and sensitivity to language;

• interest in AI‑enabled language technologies and large language models (LLMs), and openness to learning how they can support professional translation work;

• ability to work accurately and reliably in a dynamic production environment;

• familiarity with CAT tools (Trados preferred) and willingness to further develop tool‑related skills;

• availability to relocate and work in a diverse, multilingual team based in Wrocław, Poland;

• BA or MA in philology, applied linguistics, or a postgraduate degree in translation;

• initial professional experience or academic exposure to the translation of marketing materials is an advantage.

Your role

• Are you a motivated translator, ideally with a background or strong interest in marketing and/or banking? Are you passionate about languages? We’re looking for someone like you to:

• translate and transcreate marketing materials from German into French (magazine inserts, brochures, ads, videos, presentations, webpages, etc.);

• develop a solid understanding of our organization and apply UBS style and tone of voice consistently;

• contribute to clear and tailored communication between UBS and its French‑speaking audience;

• manage glossaries and translation memories to ensure consistency and quality;

• show curiosity and interest in AI‑enabled translation tools and large language models (LLMs), and contribute to their responsible and practical use;

• build linguistic and domain knowledge and actively share best practices within the team.
