HSE&ESG Officer

Description

For our client, an international company, well-known brand, we are currently looking for an experienced HSE & ESG Officer to join their team in the Czech Republic (up to 100 km from Prague). This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about health & safety, environmental management, ESG, compliance, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and applicable legal and corporate compliance requirements Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the company's ESG and sustainability strategy Coordinate ESG-related initiatives, monitor sustainability objectives, and contribute to corporate reporting Update and oversee risk assessments while supporting corrective and preventive actions Maintain and continuously improve management systems, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Monitor, analyze, and report HSE & ESG performance indicators, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on internal and external audits as well as compliance reviews Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures Provide HSE & ESG expertise to support operational and business projects Deliver employee training and promote a strong culture of safety, sustainability, ethics, and continuous improvement Requirements Master's degree in HSE, Environmental Management, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field At least 3 years of experience in an HSE, ESG, or related role, ideally within manufacturing, transport, or logistics Strong knowledge of ISO management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and regulatory compliance Experience with ESG, sustainability, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives Familiarity with compliance processes, risk management, and internal audits Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills Fluent English (written and spoken) Willingness to travel regularly within the Czech Republic and Slovakia (approximately 30%) Our Client Offers Annual bonus Company car Local employment contract under Czech labor law Opportunities for professional development and career growth An international and collaborative working environment If you are looking to develop your career in an international manufacturing environment and want to play an active role in shaping HSE, ESG, compliance, and sustainability standards, we would be delighted to hear from you.
