Who we are looking for

• We are seeking a motivated Intern/Associate with a background in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field. An ideal candidate will have an interest/first experience in valuations, financial analysis, or modeling, and be familiar with analytical tools such as Excel and VBA. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential.To succeed in this role, you should be fluent in both Polish and English and be comfortable working in a hybrid model from Deloitte's Katowice office.

Your future role

• supporting the development and refinement of financial models to assist in company and asset valuations.

• learning and applying valuation methodologies (including DCF, comps, precedent transactions) with guidance from senior staff.

• assisting in preparing financial forecasts and conducting sensitivity analyses to understand risks and returns.

• conducting research for specific projects, offering a chance to learn financial statement and market data evaluation.

• assisting in the creation of valuation reports and presentations, gaining exposure to client-facing materials.

• collaborating with experienced team members on advisory projects, enhancing both technical and communication skills.

• staying informed on industry trends and market conditions to understand factors driving financial decisions.
