The team

• UBS Evidence Lab is a global leader in alternative data and primary research for financial markets. Our multidisciplinary teams combine research, data, technology and industry expertise to generate differentiated insights for clients and internal stakeholders.

• You'll be joining the Market Research team in Evidence Lab and working closely with colleagues across London, China, India and other locations. The team partners with investment research analysts to design and execute surveys, and deliver high quality data on companies, industries and markets around the world.

• The role is based in Krakow, with a hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days from home).

Your skills and experience

• 3+ years’ experience designing and executing quantitative market research studies

• Understanding of surveys, questionnaire design, survey data collection methodologies & how this impacts the research

• Experience managing external vendors to ensure high quality outputs

• Interest or background in financial markets, equity research or industry analysis

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Good knowledge of Excel and confidence working with data

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• The ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different teams and locations

• Previous experience with SPSS, Databricks or Python would be an advantage

• We're looking for a Market Research Specialist to join the UBS Evidence Lab Market Research team in Krakow.

• In this role you will:

• Design and execute quantitative market research projects across a broad range of industries and audience types

• Work with research analysts and colleagues to understand research hypotheses and determine the most appropriate research approach

• Assist in developing questionnaires, survey materials and research specifications

• Manage project timelines and coordinate with external research vendors to ensure high-quality fieldwork delivery

• This role offers an opportunity to work on global research studies, develop expertise in market research methodologies and gain exposure to a wide range of industries and business topics.
