Description

Our client is a global leader in the automotive industry, headquartered in Sweden and renowned for its commitment to safety, sustainability, and modern mobility solutions. You will be joining their dynamic technology hub in Krakow, focused on developing cutting-edge software and next-generation vehicle infotainment systems. The main goal of this Role is to remove legacy code and align CI solutions between different generations of Infotainment products to simplify maintenance by reducing technical debt in CI pipelines. The project involves a system migration from Azure to GCP, infrastructure maintenance, and setting up virtual machines.

Experience

Requirements

• Main skill set:

• Python (Mid to Strong level)

• Cloud Computing (GCP preferred, Azure, AWS)

• CI/CD, ArgoCD

• Kubernetes, Docker

• Terraform

• Gerrit, Git

• Technical engineering degree (Preferably in the domain of software or systems engineering)

• Strong communication, multitasking, problem-solving, and planning skills

• Would be a plus:

• Airflow

• Jenkins

• Ansible

• NoSQL DB (MongoDB, ElasticSearch, etc.)

• Know the basics of automotive (or similar) functional safety standards (ISO26262)

• Know the basics of any industry standard that provides a framework for defining, implementing, and evaluating the process required for system development (in automotive – ASPICE)

Job responsibilities

• Job Responsibilities

• Workwith the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust, scalable cloud infrastructure (GCP/Azure) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Crossplane).

• Manage core IaC systems, including Kubernetes orchestration and deployment pipelines (ArgoCD), to ensure high availability, stability, and operational excellence.

• Establish and automate configuration management standards across the environment using tools like Ansible to minimize technical debt and enforce desired state.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure into CI/CD pipelines, driving secure, consistent, and reliable cloud delivery.

• Ensure cloud security, governance, and cost optimization by applying best practices and modern cloud patterns to the infrastructure landscape.

• Spearhead the removal of legacy code and refactoring initiatives to streamline system performance, improve maintainability, and support future scalability.

• Systematically reduce technical debt by introducing automation, standardizing configurations, and applying best practices across infrastructure and codebases.

• Design, implement, and maintain robust Jenkins pipelines, optimizing build, test, and deployment stages for faster and more dependable release cycles.

• Monitor and analyze CI pipeline performance, implementing improvements to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance fault tolerance.
