Your skills and experience
ideally 2-3 years of experience working in a similar role with a background in real estate
bachelor’s/master’s degree in business administration, finance, economics or related field / or similar education
excellent command of MS Office applications, particularly Excel
collaborative personality, with the ability to complete tasks independently
methodical and accurate team player with good analytical and numerical skills
fluent in German and English in order to service our local client base
you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
Key responsibilities
Are you interested in real estate investment products and an expert in payments? As a Payment Specialist, you will ensure smooth processing of invoices, accurate vendor data and timely payments. In this role, you support daily tasks while actively contributing to ongoing process improvements.
We’re looking for a Payment Specialist to support the team with the following responsibilities:
process, review and post accounts payable invoices (incl. account assignment, VAT review, plausibility checks and document controls)
reconcile and clarify vendor accounts (e.g. reminders, cash discounts, variances, credit notes, queries)
maintain vendor master data including new setup, changes, bank details/IBAN, payment terms
prepare, execute and monitor payment runs:
create and review payment proposals and obtain internal approvals
initiate payments, review payment logs and follow up on error messages
document payment runs and file/archive in accordance with guidelines
serve as a point of contact for internal and external enquiries
contribute to process improvements (e.g., accounting software upgrade)
