Description

We are looking for IES Assistant Manager (PCIP/AQIP)(1745356) with strong command of English and experience in Independence to join our global Risk Management Services Team. The Independence Supervisor is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the PCIP and AQIP teams within the Independence function. The role combines people management, operational oversight, quality assurance, stakeholder support, and direct process execution. The Supervisor ensures timely and accurate delivery of services, achievement of operational KPIs, compliance with Independence requirements, and continuous process improvement while supporting team development and engagement. The opportunity Risk Management Services (RMS) has been operating in EY GDS Poland for almost 10 years as part of a global function and continues to grow rapidly. Within RMS, Independence is the largest sub-function, responsible for delivering key internal processes that help ensure EY and its professionals comply with auditor independence rules and regulations. This work supports EY Member Practices by helping them remain free from interests or relationships that could compromise, or appear to compromise, the objectivity, integrity, and impartiality required in audit engagements. The role offers opportunities to work in a dynamic, growth-focused environment, with an objective of protecting EY’s reputation as an independent auditor, by providing support to EY member firm practices. It also involves close collaboration with global teams and stakeholders to strengthen the compliance framework and foster a mindset of continuous improvement and client enablement. Ideally, you’ll also have

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field.

Your key responsibilities

• As a PCIP CoE specialist, you will need to:

• Utilize working knowledge of different internal Independence and financial tools and systems.

• Develop technical expertise of Independence processes

• Perform and review the reconciliation, research and recommendations done by Associate analysts within the team.

• Oversee the team performance, work allocation and process execution

• Lead knowledge calibration sessions addressing process related questions from team members, 1to1’s, Team meetings etc.

• Consistently assess current processes and suggest innovative solutions or ideas to enhance efficiency and drive improvements.

• Work in a cross-location environment, fostering close collaboration with teams in India and Manila to ensure seamless coordination and delivery across global processes.

• Understand and work towards meeting and exceeding the defined individual and team KPIs for the role.

• Provide additional support in dedicated projects/task assignments.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication (both verbal and written) skills in English

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience working in a corporate organization with minimum 1 year of experience working in Risk Management environment

• Attention to details and experience in data analysis, research

• Good understanding of financial terminologies and companies’ structures, Ownership structures, awareness of auditor Independence and basic risk management concepts.

• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
