Performance Test Lead (Non-Functional)

Description

We are inviting your organization to qualify its ability to provide test management services for our Treasury 4.0 (TRE 4.0) program. We are seeking an alternative delivery partner to the current incumbent for the remaining test phases. We want to appoint people who have run this kind of testing before on comparable financial-systems programs - not generalists

Requirements

• Proven performance / non-functional test leadership

• defining scope and approach, authoring and delivering load-test scripts, and executing and analyzing results;

• hands-on with a recognized performance tool (e.g. JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, Gatling);

• OAT/NFT coverage (failover/recovery, monitoring & alerting, resilience).

• Highly desirable: Performance testing of financial systems and of SaaS / vendor-hosted applications, where infrastructure access is limited and results must be worked through with the vendor.

• Desirable: Treasury domain; exposure to FIS Quantum / Trax, SnapLogic, S/4HANA; security & compliance testing.

Responsibilities

• Own non-functional testing end to end

• define the approach, build the load scripts for PT if needed, own operational acceptance testing (failover, alerting, recovery), and work the results through with the software vendor. This is a hands-on delivery role, not oversight.

• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define the performance/non-functional test boundaries, scope and approach: baseline, volume/peak targets, soak and resilience, and the technical testing approach for vendor-hosted (SaaS) FIS services, SnapLogic integrations and S/4HANA touchpoints.

• Agree realistic, business-representative load scenarios with SMEs.

• Take full ownership of NFT/OAT/performance scenario and script creation, including the non-functional RTM.

• Design and deliver the load-test scripts/scenarios to exercise the selected paths, and execute the tests (by script or manually) or oversee their execution.

• Cover OAT: alerting & monitoring, failover & recovery, resilience, and paper-based operational readiness (e.g. joiner/mover/leaver); provide security & compliance evidence as required.

• Present and analyse results with the project team and the software vendor (FIS); support solution approaches and re-execute tests to confirm remediation.
