Description

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Project Design Engineer to join our team in Izmir. In this role, you will be responsible for driving engineering design and execution across the full project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality deliverables and seamless coordination between disciplines. You will work closely with internal teams and customers, contributing to the successful delivery of complex projects.

Your profile and qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in project or design engineering, preferably within process industries (dairy, food & beverages, chemicals, or similar)

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Food, Electrical, or related)

  • Strong CAD skills, including AutoCAD Plant 3D; 3D design experience is a plus

  • Solid understanding of technical drawings, flow components, and engineering documentation

  • Familiar with engineering standards, GMP, and hygienic design principles (EHEDG)

  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams

  • Advanced MS Office skillsGood command of English (written and spoken) — Only applications submitted in English will be considered

  • Willingness to travel and awareness of health & safety practices

  • Military service completed (if applicable)

Your responsibilities and tasks

  • Prepare, schedule, and coordinate engineering activities throughout project execution

  • Develop and maintain P&IDs, layouts, technical drawings, and engineering documentation

  • Perform engineering studies and select equipment according to project requirements

  • Create and review 2D and 3D design models in line with technical specifications

  • Coordinate technical interfaces between process, mechanical, automation, and electrical disciplines

  • Ensure engineering deliverables comply with scope, quality standards, and timelines

  • Participate in customer meetings and technical clarification discussions

  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions when needed

  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and provide technical support throughout project execution

  • Support installation, commissioning, and project handover phases
