Your profile and qualifications
Proven capital equipment sales experience within food processing or food packaging.
Strong account management and business development background.
Experience managing complex sales cycles.
Technical solution-selling capability.
Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
CRM and MS Office proficiency.
Ability to work independently across a regional territory.
Experience with slicing, portioning, loading, packing or related food processing equipment.
Knowledge of meat, poultry, cheese or prepared food sectors.
Engineering, food science or manufacturing background.
Experience selling integrated production line solutions and automation systems.
Your responsibilities and tasks
60% Account Development: Grow existing accounts, expand customer relationships, identify follow-on projects and increase market share within existing customers.
40% New Business Development: Identify, qualify and secure new customer opportunities and projects across the territory.
Develop and grow strategic customer accounts.
Identify and pursue capital equipment opportunities.
Build relationships with production, engineering, operations and procurement stakeholders.
Conduct site surveys and process reviews.
Oversee technical and commercial proposals.
Support demonstrations, trials and factory visits.
Maintain CRM data and sales forecasts.
Support contract negotiations and project handovers.
Represent GEA at exhibitions and industry events.
Travel extensively within territory with occasional travel to European manufacturing sites and test centres.
