Regional Sales Representative, 3M Electrical Markets Division; Houston, TX

Work location:

• Remote: Based on assigned Territory: East TX and Houston

Your Skills and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND three (3) years direct sales and/or electrical construction/industrial experience in a private, public, government or military environment.

• Associate's degree (completed and verified prior to start) and five (5) years of electrical industry sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment

• Current, valid driver’s license.

• Sales experience in the Electric Contractor Market.

• Strong negotiation and relationship building skills.

• Aptitude to understand and train customers on multiple product lines and applications.

• Experience selling through distribution.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to all levels.

• Ability to qualify and prioritize sales opportunities within assigned territory.

• Experience working in a matrix environment or large complex organization.

• Strong computer skills, Database management: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Salesforce.com.

• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.

• Strong team player, ability to work effectively with peers.

• Driving profitable sales for the C&I business in the assigned territory.

• Developing, implementing, and executing effective territory business plans.

• Prioritizing your end customers, markets, and distributors to drive effective territory management.

• Implementing promotions, and directives as set by division management.

• Collaborating across other C&I territories and within other 3M EMD Divisions to meet customer needs.
