Description

We are currently supporting our client, an international SSC organization, in the search for an experienced RTR & Controlling Manager. This role is a great opportunity for a senior finance leader who wants to combine RTR, statutory reporting, and controlling/FP&A responsibilities with team leadership, ownership of financial processes, and strong influence on business decision-making in a global environment. Key Responsibilities - Take full ownership of assigned legal entities, ensuring high-quality RTR delivery, controlling insights, and compliance • Lead, develop, and support a team of RTR and/or controlling specialists (depending on structure) • Oversee and coordinate the end-to-end month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Ensure preparation of statutory and group financial statements in line with IFRS and local regulations • Drive controlling activities, including variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring • Deliver high-quality financial insights and partner with business stakeholders to support decision-making • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements • Act as a key escalation point for accounting, reporting, and controlling matters • Lead cooperation with external and internal auditors • Identify and implement process improvements and standardization initiatives across RTR and controlling • Collaborate with global finance teams, SSC leadership, and business partners Requirements - Around 5–8 years of experience in RTR, controlling, accounting, or finance leadership roles • Previous people management or team leadership experience • Strong knowledge of IFRS and RTR processes (GL, close, reporting) • Solid background in controlling/FP&A (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis) • Experience in SSC / international environments • Strong ownership mindset and ability to manage complex financial areas end-to-end • Experience in audits, compliance, and stakeholder management • Ability to combine technical accounting expertise with business partnering approach • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) • Excellent communication and leadership skills Offer
