Your profile and qualifications
Current student pursing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proactive with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong organizational skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to ask questions and seek clarification when needed
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Assist with the use of tax and accounting software platforms (e.g., tax calculation and ERP systems).
Review, verify, and process customer sales tax exemption certificates.
Maintain and update tax codes and exemption statuses within ERP systems.
Prepare and provide exemption certificates to vendors as needed.
Set up new customer tax profiles and update existing ones within tax systems.
Assist in gathering documentation requested for state and local sales/use tax audits.
Support Indirect Tax Manager with special projects.
Assist with reconciling state and local income tax general ledger accounts.
Compile and review information used in preparing income tax returns.
Respond to various state income and franchise tax notices.
Prepare supporting information for tax notices or audit requests.
Research tax issues and draft summary memoranda as directed.
Support Tax Senior Manager with special projects and analysis.
