SAP ABAP DeveloperLocation: Częstochowa / Hybrid model (2–5 office days per month)Employment Type: Full-time, permanent contract (UoP)Role: SAP Developer Your new role The SAP Developer role focusses on custom SAP development, technical design, application support and continuous improvement of SAP development tools and processes. You will work closely with functional support teams to translate high-level business requirements into technical design documents and reliable SAP solutions. This is a hands-on development role for an experienced SAP specialist who combines strong ABAP expertise with practical knowledge of SAP ERP Logistics and modern SAP technologies.Daily responsibilities: Performing custom SAP development activities, including application design, coding, testing, documentation and unit testing. Ensuring that developments are delivered according to established standards, best practices and quality expectations. Collaborating with functional support teams to analyse business requirements and transform them into technical design documents. Performing high-level system design, technical analysis and programming tasks within SAP environments. Reviewing and approving design and programming deliverables where required. Providing product support to end users, including problem determination, issue resolution and user training. Maintaining and improving SAP development tools, applying technical updates, documenting and testing new processes and troubleshooting issues. Work structure and key challenges: This role combines hands-on SAP development with close cooperation with functional teams and end users. The successful candidate will be expected to understand business needs, translate them into technical SAP solutions and support the full development life cycle from design and coding to testing, documentation and production support. A key challenge of the role is working across logistics-related SAP areas and ensuring that custom developments are stable, scalable and aligned with business-critical processes. The position also requires the ability to troubleshoot effectively, support users, improve development processes and cooperate with other team members to identify practical improvements. Requirements: University degree in IT, Computer Science or a related technical field. Proficiency in English min. B2 and ability to work in an international environment. 5+ years of professional SAP development experience. Strong ABAP development experience, especially within SAP ERP Logistics modules such as IM, WM, PM, QM or PP. Experience with Web Service development in both provider and consumer roles. REST programming experience and practical knowledge of OData and CDS technology, including Core Data Services in ABAP. Experience with Fiori and WebDynPro development Nice to have:• Experience working in global automotive, manufacturing or logistics-driven SAP environments.• Good understanding of SAP development standards, transport processes and technical documentation practices.• Ability to support business users and explain technical topics in a clear, practical way.• Proactive mindset focused on process improvement, troubleshooting and reliable delivery.
