Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Consultant to support global clients in transforming and optimizing their end-to-end planning capabilities. The successful candidate will combine strong supply chain planning expertise with consulting skills and planning technology knowledge to deliver business value through process improvements, operating model design, and system implementations. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, project teams, and technology specialists to design and implement planning solutions that improve service levels, inventory performance, operational efficiency, and working capital.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, Economics, Business, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain planning, consulting, or planning technology implementations.

  • Strong understanding of:

  • Demand Planning

  • Supply Planning

  • Inventory Optimization

  • Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling

  • S&OP / Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

  • Supply Network Planning

  • Master Data Management

  • Experience participating in large-scale transformation or system implementation projects.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Fluent English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with one or more planning software:

  • SAP IBP

  • OMP

  • Kinaxis RapidResponse

  • Blue Yonder (JDA)

  • o9 Solutions

  • Knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.

  • Planning software certifications.

  • Experience in FMCG, Consumer Products, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Chemical, Automotive, or Retail industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Transformation

  • Lead planning transformation initiatives across demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, production planning, and S&OP/IBP processes.

  • Assess current planning processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design future-state operating models.

  • Facilitate workshops, fit-gap assessments, and business process design sessions with clients.

  • Support development of planning roadmaps and business transformation strategies.

  • Planning Technology Implementation

  • Translate business requirements into system solutions and functional designs.

  • Configure, test, and deploy planning solutions using platforms such as SAP IBP, OMP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or similar tools.

  • Support data modeling, master data design, integration testing, and UAT activities.

  • Drive successful implementation and adoption of planning technologies.

  • Analytics & Optimization

  • Analyze planning and transactional data to identify process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.

  • Develop insights, business cases, dashboards, and performance reports.

  • Support optimization of inventory, service, capacity utilization, and working capital metrics.

  • Recommend data-driven solutions to improve planning performance.

  • Project Delivery & Leadership

  • Lead workstreams and manage project deliverables throughout the implementation lifecycle.

  • Mentor junior consultants and support capability development within the team.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to deliver client engagements.

  • Contribute to business development activities, proposals, and thought leadership initiatives.
