Description
We are seeking a Senior Application Specialist with expertise in Collibra to ensure the smooth operation of our business application services. In this role, you will resolve issues, drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the seamless delivery of application features to end-users while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. Responsibilities Ensure smooth business application service operations by resolving issues in a timely manner Facilitate smooth transition of application features from development to production environments Actively develop continuous improvement initiatives and optimization of business application service operations Assist in the automation of existing manual activities to improve the consistency and efficiency of business application service delivery to end-users Communicate effectively with stakeholders as part of incident/problem management Manage escalations related to operational topics Requirements 3+ years of experience in Collibra and Collibra workflow scripting Proficiency in relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server (Snowflake is a plus) Background in incident and problem management Understanding of at least one common Enterprise Agile Framework, e.g., Kanban, SAFe or SCRUM Strong skills in agile delivery, with release management experience and engineering exposure Proven ability to balance and prioritize multiple operations/projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail Nice to have Knowledge of cloud services, preferably AWS Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab and Jenkins Proficiency in programming languages including Java and Python Flexibility to use ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence or other similar tools
Requirements
3+ years of experience in Collibra and Collibra workflow scripting
Proficiency in relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server (Snowflake is a plus)
Background in incident and problem management
Understanding of at least one common Enterprise Agile Framework, e.g., Kanban, SAFe or SCRUM
Strong skills in agile delivery, with release management experience and engineering exposure
Proven ability to balance and prioritize multiple operations/projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
