Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join the Enterprise Pipeline Workflow Enablement team to build and manage a scalable, secure and efficient CI/CD pipeline. This role is pivotal in supporting the enablement of infrastructure-as-code for our GitHub Actions pipeline and will contribute to a new Full-Stack team embracing new ways of working (NWoW). Responsibilities Design, implement and deploy cloud platforms to support and meet business needs Identify, recommend and implement opportunities for improvements Develop and maintain strategies to maximize operation uptime and system stability Track system performance and address potential issues proactively Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions Support the enablement of infrastructure as code across cloud environments Collaborate with the Full-Stack team to integrate server-side solutions Requirements 5+ years of related work experience in cloud engineering or DevOps Understanding of core cloud infrastructure and platform concepts Expertise in CI/CD tooling, particularly GitHub Actions Hands-on experience with AWS services such as CloudFormation, EC2 and Lambda Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance Deep expertise in TypeScript English proficiency at B2 level or higher Nice to have Knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform and Docker Familiarity with Open Policy Agent (OPA), Nx or other monorepo orchestration frameworks Background in Java, Python or Bash Familiarity with Atlassian Confluence and Atlassian Jira Understanding of Cloud Operations and Network Administration

Requirements

• 5+ years of related work experience in cloud engineering or DevOps

• Understanding of core cloud infrastructure and platform concepts

• Expertise in CI/CD tooling, particularly GitHub Actions

• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as CloudFormation, EC2 and Lambda

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance

• Deep expertise in TypeScript

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
