Senior DevOps Engineer - Checkmarx

Description

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of the Checkmarx application security platform, acting as the go-to technical expert for application teams, security teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities Manage central configuration of the platform and ensure smooth day-to-day operation Handle upgrades and maintenance activities to keep the platform running reliably Investigate and resolve issues reported by users Troubleshoot scan execution in CI/CD pipelines Act on operational incidents, including recovery efforts Communicate with Checkmarx vendors regarding issues, feature requests, and timelines Participate in regular vendor meetings and escalate critical issues when needed Contribute to the SAP Piper pipeline solution, including bug fixes and development of new features Configure and troubleshoot scan integrations Suggest improvements related to monitoring, tooling, and features Evaluate new product capabilities and coordinate adoption plans Validate vendor fixes and patches before production deployment, providing feedback that influences product roadmap discussions Requirements 5+ years of experience administering and operating application security platforms such as Checkmarx Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, including scan execution and integration troubleshooting Experience with the SAP Piper pipeline solution, including bug fixes and feature development Skills in vendor management, including issue escalation and coordination on feature requests and timelines Background in operational incident handling and recovery processes Understanding of platform administration, including configuration management, upgrades, and maintenance Capability to evaluate new product capabilities and coordinate their adoption

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience administering and operating application security platforms such as Checkmarx

• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, including scan execution and integration troubleshooting

• Experience with the SAP Piper pipeline solution, including bug fixes and feature development

• Skills in vendor management, including issue escalation and coordination on feature requests and timelines

• Background in operational incident handling and recovery processes

• Understanding of platform administration, including configuration management, upgrades, and maintenance

• Capability to evaluate new product capabilities and coordinate their adoption
