Description

Join a healthcare data platform team building client-scoped SLO monitoring and alerting solutions. The project includes automated dashboard and alert generation across 110-140 services, as well as an internal application providing customer-specific SLA visibility. This role focuses on application instrumentation, telemetry quality, and observability adoption across distributed systems. AI-assisted development is expected and encouraged. Requirements

• Developing full-stack web applications with TypeScript, Next.js, and React.js

• Applying server-side OIDC authentication and session-based security measures

• Designing and building secure APIs and proxy services related to identity platforms

• Implementing caching strategies and performance optimizations

• Integrating audit logging for operational transparency

• Utilizing AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot

• Translating complex operational data into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces

• Maintaining a strong analytical mindset with a healthy skepticism toward telemetry data quality

• Validating metrics and signals against independent sources before operational use

• Grafana and observability platforms

• SLO-based monitoring and alerting

• Healthcare or other regulated environments

• SRE or platform engineering experience

• Domain: US Healthcare (PHI-adjacent)

• Okta and observability platform access

• AI-assisted engineering is a standard part of the development workflow.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack applications using TypeScript and Next.js/React.js.

• Implement secure server-side OIDC authentication and manage sessions.

• Build and maintain credential-brokering proxy services.

• Optimize application performance by caching costly backend queries.

• Implement audit logging and traceability features.

• Design clear, data-rich user interfaces for operational and SLA reporting.

• Collaborate with platform and observability teams to support reliability efforts.

• Validate telemetry and operational signals with independent data sources.
