Description
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable Java applications leveraging Azure cloud technologies within a collaborative, cross-functional environment. Please note that working from the office in Krakow or Wroclaw for 3 days per week is required. Responsibilities Develop and maintain Java applications that meet business requirements and technical specifications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions Utilize Azure services and technologies to build scalable and efficient applications Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure high performance and reliability Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Java development and cloud computing Requirements 8+ years of professional experience in Java development Proficiency in Java 18+, Spring Boot, and Microservice Architecture Style Skills in RESTful API development, including OpenAPI/Swagger Skills in PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Databases for database management Knowledge of Hibernate and JPA for ORM implementation Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD Background in Azure cloud platform Understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Splunk Expertise in testing frameworks including JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, and JBehave Competency in messaging and integration technologies like Apache Kafka and REST Knowledge of security and authentication practices using OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security Proficiency in English at a B2+ level Nice to have Background in the financial services industry Certification in Azure or related cloud technologies Familiarity with other programming languages and frameworks Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices Knowledge of Kubernetes
Requirements
8+ years of professional experience in Java development
Proficiency in Java 18+, Spring Boot, and Microservice Architecture Style
