Senior RTR Manager / RTR Director (GBS)

About the Role We are currently looking for an experienced Senior RTR Manager / RTR Director to take full ownership of the Record to Report function within a growing Global Business Services organization. This is a high-impact role, crucial to building and shaping RTR structures, driving standardization, and establishing a finance center of excellence. Key Responsibilities End-to-end ownership of the RTR (Record to Report) function within a GBS environment Build, lead, and develop a high-performing RTR team Oversee core RTR processes, including:Month-end and year-end closingGeneral Ledger Fixed AssetsAccruals & provisionsIntercompany accountingStatutory and management reporting Month-end and year-end closing General Ledger Fixed Assets Accruals & provisions Intercompany accounting Statutory and management reporting Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting Drive process standardization, optimization, and automation initiatives Lead or support process migrations and transformations Collaborate closely with key stakeholders (Finance, Controlling, local markets) Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations Define, monitor, and improve KPIs and SLAs Foster a culture of continuous improvement Requirements 8-10+ years of experience in RTR / GL / Accounting, including GBS/SSC environment (mandatory) Proven leadership experience (managing teams of min. 8-10 FTEs) Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS/US GAAP preferred) Experience in GBS/SSC setup, transformation, or scaling organizations High level of ownership and ability to work independently Strong change management and stakeholder management skills Experience in a manufacturing environment – nice to have Fluent English Experience with ERP systems What We Offer A key role in building and developing a GBS structure High level of autonomy and real impact on processes and strategy International and dynamic work environment Opportunity to drive innovation (automation, digitalization) Attractive compensation and benefits package Career growth within a global organization Why Join?
