Description
We're looking for a Senior Rust Software Engineer to help unify UL Link, T-Bricks, and CQG into a single platform, developing the distributed cache/memory model responsible for ultra-low-latency distribution of market and reference data. This position plays a key part in the larger canonical data model initiative, providing normalized, low-latency versions of transaction, market, and reference data. Responsibilities Design and build a distributed caching layer for high-throughput, low-latency market data distribution Leverage QuestDB to support fast data access across the platform Collaborate with technical leads on architecture and integration decisions Support consolidation of feed handlers and connectivity layers across UL Link, T-Bricks, and CQG Define data models and schemas to support normalized market and reference data Optimize memory management and concurrency patterns for ultra-low latency workloads Participate in code reviews and mentor team members on distributed systems best practices Requirements 3+ years of experience with Rust, including work with distributed systems Experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems Knowledge of time-series databases such as QuestDB, KDB, or InfluxDB Understanding of capital markets and market data, including equities, derivatives, futures, and options Proficiency in system design for scalable, fault-tolerant architectures Familiarity with Linux performance tuning and profiling tools English proficiency at a B2+ level Nice to have Experience with streaming/messaging systems such as Kafka Familiarity with the FIX protocol Knowledge of Golang
Requirements
3+ years of experience with Rust, including work with distributed systems
Experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems
Knowledge of time-series databases such as QuestDB, KDB, or InfluxDB
Understanding of capital markets and market data, including equities, derivatives, futures, and options
Proficiency in system design for scalable, fault-tolerant architectures
Familiarity with Linux performance tuning and profiling tools
English proficiency at a B2+ level
