Your profile and qualifications
SAP experience.
Knowledge of HAZMAT regulations and safe handling practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Your responsibilities and tasks
Prepare Shipping Documents: Accurately create shipping labels, packing lists, and invoices for outgoing shipments, including those requiring special HAZMAT documentation.
Coordinate with Carriers: Schedule and coordinate pick-up times with shipping carriers, ensuring the timely and safe departure of shipments, particularly those involving hazardous materials.
Inspect Shipments: Verify that the correct items are packed and that packaging complies with HAZMAT shipping regulations. Inspect outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies.
Handle HAZMAT Shipments: Ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT), REMOVE International Air Transport Association (IATA), International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) and other relevant regulations regarding the safe handling and shipping of hazardous materials.
Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts and stock levels to ensure accuracy in the warehouse, especially when handling hazardous substances.
Resolve Issues: Address any shipping discrepancies or issues, including delayed, damaged, or lost shipments, especially those involving HAZMAT materials.
Maintain Shipping Records: Keep accurate records of all shipping transactions, including HAZMAT documentation, for reference and audit purposes.
Ensure Compliance: Follow all federal, state, and local regulations for shipping, including the proper handling and labeling of hazardous materials.
Collaboration: Work with warehouse (ADD production, planning) and customer service teams to ensure shipping deadlines are met and orders are processed correctly.
