Qualification requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Python.

• Interest in software testing, test automation, and quality assurance.

• Structured and independent working style combined with strong analytical thinking skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in either German or English.

• Team-oriented mindset, eagerness to learn, and enthusiasm for new technologies, especially AI-powered development tools.

Brief Role Description

• As a Student, you are responsible for conducting original research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in your chosen field. The role emphasizes developing expertise through independent study, experimentation, and collaboration with academic advisors and industry professionals. You engage in scholarly activities, including publishing research, presenting at conferences, and contributing to academic and professional communities. This job profile combines in-depth theoretical knowledge with practical problem-solving, fostering innovation and analytical thinking.

• The hourly wage of a working student is €17.50.

Possible Tasks within this Role

• You support our team in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of test automation solutions and contribute to the standardization of existing testing frameworks.

• You create and maintain automated test cases using Python, Gauge, and modern AI-powered tools.

• You contribute to the development of new test cases and support the maintenance, execution, and evaluation of regression tests.

• You perform software updates and assist in the analysis of test results.

• You create and maintain documentation, how-to guides, and other technical materials.

• You participate in meetings, workshops, and coordination activities, contributing your own ideas to the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and testing methodologies.

• You collaborate closely with developers, testers, and other business units, gaining insight into modern software development and quality assurance processes.
