TARIFF / CUSTOMS CLASSIFICATION SPECIALIST (f / m)

Qualifications

• 🛠 What You Bring:

• ✅ Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as international trade, business or engineering.

• ✅ 1–3 years of experience in trade compliance or product engineering.

• ✅ Strong understanding and proven experience in tariff/customs classification.

• ✅ Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.

• ✅ Experience in export control classification will be a big asset.

• ✅ Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

• ✅ Advanced English proficiency (German is a plus!).

• ✅ Experience with ERP systems (SAP, GTS or MIC) is a bonus.

• ✅ Great communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

• As a Tariff/Customs Classification Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring BOSCH Group’s compliance with international trade regulations. Your expertise will help us navigate classification of goods for foreign trade purposes.

• 🚀 Your Impact:

• ✔ Perform tariff/customs classification of BOSCH product portfolio according to numerous national tariff schemes as a leading task and export control classification (if needed).

• ✔ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and international stakeholder to gather necessary technical information and documentation for accurate classification.

• ✔ Work with a global team and Foreign Trade functions in entities in multiple countries therefore fluent communication in English is expected.

• ✔ Stay ahead of the game by keeping up with evolving foreign trade regulations, in particular on tariff/customs classification in many jurisdictions.
