Strong understanding of multiple SAP Portfolio categories and products, including ERP and Finance, CRM and Customer Experience, Spend Management, Supply Chain Management, and HR and People Engagement
Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and at least one of the following environments: Cloud Foundry, Kyma/Kubernetes, or ABAP PaaS
Experience designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines, deploying across Cloud and On-Premise environments
Knowledge of IT architecture best practices (TOGAF, ITABoK, BTABoK, DMBoK)
Familiarity with SAP methodologies, including SAP Activate, RISE/GROW with SAP, and SAP Integration Solution Advisory Methodology
Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and SaaS Extensibility (In-App, On-Stack, Side-by-Side)
Understanding of key end-to-end business processes (e.g., Idea to Market, Source to Pay, Lead to Cash)
Familiarity with architectural styles (Monolith, Microservices, Event-Driven, Layered)
Knowledge of performance, scaling, integration, fault tolerance, and security architectural patterns
Experience with SAP Technical Architecture Modeling (TAM) and BTP architecture
Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Proficiency in programming languages (ABAP, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Groovy, XSLT)
Experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP), ABAP RAP, Fiori, and BOPF
Familiarity with SAP BTP services (e.g., HANA Cloud, Build Process Automation, Integration Suite)
Expertise in designing and developing Web Services (REST, SOAP, WebAPI) and deploying them across environments
Proficiency in OData (v2/v4) and service definitions

Conduct cost-benefit analyses to ensure technology solutions align with business objectives
Gather, document, and analyze functional and non-functional requirements, including quality attributes and constraints
Support pre-sales activities as a technical architect, presenting and advocating solution proposals
Lead the design, development, and deployment of new capabilities and service offerings within SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP SaaS
Solve complex technical challenges within the application development team, applying industry best practices
Engage in hands-on programming for front-end and back-end development as required
Assess the impact of system modifications and enhancements, identifying integration points and ensuring cohesive end-to-end solution designs
Provide expert guidance on SAP CIO Guides (On-premises / Cloud / Hybrid), Integration Solution Advisory Methodology (ISA-M), Application Extension Methodology, RISE/GROW with SAP, and SAP Data and Analytics Advisory Methodology
Estimate work efforts for SAP development, Basis, DevOps activities, and technical architecture components
Develop solution architecture documentation, work/feature breakdown structures, and other technical artifacts with detailed specifications
