For our Client, a European‑headquartered international food company and a market leader in the frozen bakery segment across Europe and APAC, we are supporting the recruitment for the STP Accountant with German position. The organization serves major retail chains, convenience formats, quick‑service restaurants, bakeries and the foodservice sector.Its European Business Service Center plays a central role in driving the company’s growth strategy by supporting decision‑making, ensuring efficient operational processes and strengthening internal controls. As a STP Accountant you will handle daily tasks related to supplier invoices and employee expenses, ensure data accuracy, and maintain regular communication with both vendors and internal stakeholders. The role includes supporting audit activities, reconciling vendor balances, completing key tasks during month‑end, and contributing to ongoing improvements within the P2P area. Additionally, the person will help develop process documentation and provide essential financial information to local teams to support effective decision‑making. Key Responsibilities: Timely processing of accounting documents related to payables, including employee expense settlements. Responding to inquiries from internal and external suppliers. Supporting internal and external audits. Managing vendor accounts and performing balance reconciliations, identifying opportunities to clear open items. Accurate and timely execution of activities related to period-end closing. Analyzing P2P processes; identifying opportunities and proposing improvements and standardisation. Actively participating in the creation of operational procedures (SOPs) and other documentation supporting the P2P process. Supporting partnership with the local entity by providing data required for management. Requirements: At least one year of experience in finance, specifically in STP/P2P/AP processes. Experience working with SAP system. Fluent English (minimum B2) and German (minimum B1). Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team. Openness to change and a dynamic environment. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Experience in process transition from or to another location/business unit will be an advantage. What We Offer: Hybrid work model.
