Wymagania
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
Minimum 1 year design experience of electrical systems (Vehicle integration experience preferred)
Strong technical background
Familiarity with ATVs and SxSs required or automotive industry
Experience with a 3-D CAD modeling package required, Creo Parametric / Pro Engineer preferred.
Electrical system design and development experience preferred.
Wire harness design experience
Experience with the routing of cables and flexible components desired
Creative, innovative, decisive and prone to action, ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in a dynamic engineering environment
Strong communication skills and very good command of English
Zakres obowiązków
Support new design for electrical systems of ORV vehicles
Create electrical drawings and schematics.
Close collaboration with the Platform Electrical Design Architect and systems engineer to grasp the desired physical strategy for a vehicle electrical system and then proceed to execute it in the CAD realm.
Responsible for ownership and directing activities for the electrical system in CAD, including finalizing component placement, routing harnesses, and developing interfaces with other systems.
Interact with purchasing, testing, manufacturing, and external suppliers as needed for the successful completion of projects.
Provide technical expertise in diagnosis of complex electrical system questions, designs, or problems.
Opis
We are looking for a Design Engineer Electrical who will be responsible for executing robust electrical routed system harness designs, complex component placement, and vehicle level planning, design, validation and field support of worldwide off-road electrical systems to support design implementation into production. The primary area of focus will be on Polaris Off-Road vehicles with involvement on other Polaris products as required. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with advanced powersports technologies and contribute to the development of Polaris vehicles used across Europe.
